  • Party speakers is a device that converts an audio signal into sound. Generally speaking, it refers to the power amplifier in the Party Portable Speakers host box or subwoofer box. Because the loudspeaker has a certain mass inertia, the paper basin vibration can not keep up with the instantaneous changing electrical signal, resulting in the distortion of transmission waveform, resulting in the change of spectrum and timbre.     The maximum withstand power, namely music power (MPO), originated from the German industrial standard (DIN) refers to the maximum power that the loudspeaker can withstand in a short time. This is because the amplitude of the audio signal changes greatly when playing the music signal. Sometimes the peak value of the music power will exceed several times the rated power in a short time. The power labeling standards formulated in China's national standard gb9396-88 include maximum noise power, long-term maximum power, short-term maximum power and rated sinusoidal power Wave power. Usually, the speaker manufacturer takes the long-term power or rated power as the marked power of the speaker.


    8. Nominal impedance (unit: Ohm Ω): refers to the ratio of the signal voltage U input by the loudspeaker to the signal current (the same as in high school physics, r = u / I). Since the impedance of the loudspeaker is a function of frequency, the impedance value also changes with the frequency of the input signal. The preferred values of speaker impedance specified in China's national standards are 4 Ω, 8 Ω and 16 Ω (the recommended value in the international standard is 8 Ω), and it is specified that the nominal impedance of the loudspeaker is the lowest impedance value between the peak F0 of the loudspeaker resonance frequency and the second resonance peak F1. Some foreign loudspeaker manufacturers use the section where the impedance characteristic curve tends to be flat as the nominal impedance of the loudspeaker. The nominal impedance of the loudspeaker is different from the nominal impedance of the loudspeaker because there is no noise in the loudspeaker There is only one speaker unit, and the properties of each unit are different. In addition, there is a frequency division network in series or parallel. Therefore, the standard stipulates that the minimum impedance shall not be less than 80% of the nominal impedance value.


    9. Sensitivity (unit: dB): the sensitivity of the speaker refers to the sound pressure level measured at a distance of 1m from the geometric center of each speaker unit on the front of the speaker when the input electric power to the speaker in the speaker system is 1W (the sound pressure is directly proportional to the amplitude and frequency of the sound wave, and the sound pressure level is an indicator of the relative size of the sound pressure). It should be specially pointed out here that although the sensitivity is an indicator of the speaker, it has nothing to do with the sound quality and timbre. It only affects the loudness of the speaker. The loudness of the speaker can be improved by increasing the input power.


    10. Efficiency (expressed in percentage): the definition of speaker efficiency is the ratio of the sound power output by the speaker to the electric power input (that is, the percentage of sound to electricity conversion). Recently, speakers sold on the market are usually marked with sensitivity, while some speakers are marked with efficiency, which is expressed in decibels. This wrong marking method has confused some consumers with the two indicators of sensitivity and efficiency. The two indicators of sensitivity and efficiency of speakers have nothing to do with sound quality and timbre, let alone assessment quality But the sensitivity and efficiency are too low. The input power of the power amplifier must be increased to reach the required sound pressure level.

The disadvantage is that the manufacturing process is complex and the price is naturally not cheap; The advantage of "wool weaving basin" is that it has ideal effect on soft music such as light music, and is suitable to be used in the range of medium and low bass. The disadvantage is that the performance of low bass is not strong enough, and the sense of strength is also inferior; "CD film" is a new product in the market. As an excellent bass speaker material, its performance in all aspects is obvious to all. However, it has not been accepted by many manufacturers, so there are few speakers made of this speaker.




    Influence of materials on quality

    The materials used for speakers are mainly divided into plastic boxes and wooden boxes. The thickness and quality of materials are directly related to the cost of speakers, and also affect the performance of speakers. The greater the material density of the speaker shell, the smaller the vibration generated by the box when making sound, especially for the active speaker with high-power amplifier. To a certain extent, the plate thickness is a powerful guarantee for realizing the subwoofer effect. Therefore, the subwoofer effect of the plastic speaker can not be praised. Obviously, low-end audio products must be molded. But must the mid-range speakers be made of wood? The answer is No. This grade of speakers are both wooden and plastic shell imitation wooden, but some imitations have completely reached the level of confusing the fake with the real. Medium and high-grade products must be made of wood, but medium density board or multi-layer board is used, which also has different effects on sound quality. Even if the selected plates are the same, the output power is the same, and the sound quality may still be far different with different design structures and different box sizes.
