Electrical Cord Reel Features
Cable reels are divided into two categories based on their driving forms: non electric and electric; According to cable arrangement, there are two types: axial single row and axial multi row; According to the position of the collector slip ring, it can be divided into two forms: slip ring internal installation and slip ring external installation; According to the winding material, it is divided into Kaihui cable reel and hose reel. Among them, non electric types include: elastic (TA) type, heavy hammer (ZC) type, and magnetic coupling type (JQC); Electric type includes: magnetic coupling type (JQD), torque motor type (KDO), hysteresis type (CZ), and variable frequency control type (BP), etc.
Principle, performance, and application.
Elastic type
a. Working principle
The working principle of the elastic cable reel is similar to that of a steel tape measure, which uses a worm coil spring as the power to roll up the cable. When the cable is pulled out, the snail coil spring is tightened to store energy. When external force is removed, the spring releases energy and the drum will automatically roll up the cable.
b. Performance and characteristics
Easy installation, good synchronization performance, low cable tension, but the spring is prone to fatigue and has a short service life.
c. Applicable scope
Applicable cables: power cables with a cross-sectional area of less than 35mm and signal cables with a core of less than 24;
Winding length: not exceeding 30m;
Applicable equipment: such as electromagnetic suction cups, grab buckets, electric trolleys, etc.
Heavy hammer type
a. Working principle
The heavy hammer type cable reel is a mechanical device that uses the principle of energy storage when the heavy hammer is lifted to automatically roll up cables. When the cable is pulled out, it drives the cable reel to rotate, thereby driving the steel wire rope reel coaxial with the cable reel to rotate, lifting the heavy hammer and storing potential energy. When the reel needs to roll up the cable, the heavy hammer descends to release potential energy. Under the tension of the steel wire rope, it drives the cable reel coaxially connected to the steel wire rope reel to rotate and synchronously roll up the cable.
b. Performance and characteristics
Simple structure, performance, and convenient installation and maintenance.
c. Applicable scope
Applicable cables: cables with a cross-sectional area of 25-50 mm.
Winding length: less than 50m.
Applicable equipment: Especially suitable for harsh working conditions, such as various metallurgical and mining vehicles such as ladle cars, molten iron cars, slag pans, etc.
Magnetic coupling type
a. Working principle
The permanent magnet coupler is a differential adjustment mechanism that outputs a constant torque to the cable reel. When the rated torque is exceeded, the coupler slips. When the equipment drives towards the ground cable anchorage, the power is driven by a permanent magnet coupler to reel in the cable. The torque output by the coupler to the reel is adjustable, so that the line speed of cable winding is synchronized with the speed of the crane operation.
When the equipment leaves the ground cable anchorage, due to the one-way clutch sprocket on the reel, power cannot be transmitted to the cable reel. When the crane is running, it drags the cable, causing the reel to produce a torque greater than the system resistance (cable release hysteresis device), and synchronously releases the cable.
According to the actual working conditions, the walking wheel axle (JQC series) or electric motor (JQD series) in the mobile device transmission system can be selected as the power output.
b. Performance and characteristics
Permanent magnet technology is used for the final stage of the drum drive system, with low speed and no heating phenomenon; The cable tension can be adjusted to protect the cable, but it is not advisable to use axial single row to avoid excessive noise.
