Machines and systems are becoming increasingly modular in design. Not all machines and system parts are in operation permanently. To be able to reliably differentiate between active and inactive emergency stop devices in the event of danger, illuminated buttons on the stop switches can be used in accordance with the EN ISO 13850 standard.
If the machine part is currently in operation, the active emergency stop button is illuminated. If the machine part is not currently connected, the emergency stop button is not illuminated. Accordingly, the button is inactive and not visually recognizable as an active emergency stop or emergency switch-off.

What is the difference between an emergency stop and emergency switching off?

"Emergency stop switch" is usually a manually controlled push switch (the key is red), which is connected in series to the control circuit of the equipment. It is used to directly disconnect the power supply of the control circuit in case of emergency, so as to quickly stop the equipment and avoid abnormal operation.

Installation and removal method of emergency button switch,E-Stop Switches
Insert the operating head into the mounting hole from the front of the panel, screw it into the middle seat at the back of the panel, and then evenly tighten the set screws at both ends (do not use excessive force, the maximum torque is 25n-cm). If the panel is plastic and other non-metal, it can be installed after a mounting plate is placed on the back of the panel. If the diameter of the mounting hole is 25mm, it can be placed on the back of the panel φ Install the rear mounting plate of 25.
Type a button, the switching element can be installed together with the middle seat For type B button, the switching element shall be removed first, and then the middle seat shall be installed.
Note: if the button is found stuck after installation, adjust the two set screws of the middle seat to keep the same tightness, and then it can be removed.
The switching element can be directly fastened, and the symbol piece of the head can be directly installed at the front (generally installed at the factory)
Note: after installation, check whether the buckle of the switching element is fully buckled.
